Concierge Experience
What does concierge mean at Strand Society?+

Concierge means your beauty experience is intentionally coordinated around your location, timing, service needs, and overall experience. This is not a standard in-and-out salon appointment. Every request is reviewed, prepared for, and delivered with privacy, professionalism, and care.

Why do I need to submit a request instead of booking instantly?+

Concierge services require thoughtful scheduling, travel coordination, product preparation, and service planning. Your request allows our team to confirm the right timing, location, and service details before your appointment is approved.

Is concierge the same as an in-salon appointment?+

No. Concierge services involve travel, setup, breakdown, preparation, timing coordination, and a more personalized service environment. The experience is intentionally designed to meet you where you are.

Booking & Timing
How far in advance should I book?+

We recommend booking 48–72 hours in advance whenever possible. This gives adequate time for scheduling, travel planning, product preparation, and overall service coordination.

Do you offer same-day appointments?+

In some cases, yes. Same-day appointments are considered based on availability, travel logistics, and service type, and may include an expedited concierge fee.

Why is advance timing important?+

Strand Society appointments require preparation before arrival. Timing allows us to properly prepare tools, products, routing, and the overall experience so your appointment can be delivered at the proper standard.

What if I am running late?+

Please communicate as soon as possible. Delays may shorten the service window, affect what can be completed, or require rescheduling depending on the timing and service booked.

Changes, Rescheduling & Appointment Flow
Can I reschedule my appointment?+

Yes. Rescheduling requests should be made as early as possible so timing, routing, and coordination can be adjusted properly.

What if I change my mind once the appointment begins?+

If the service direction changes after arrival or once the appointment has started, additional fees may apply. Changes in service type, timing, complexity, or product usage affect the appointment flow and must be accounted for accordingly.

What if I add more services during the appointment?+

Additional services may be accommodated if time, materials, and scheduling allow. Added services are not guaranteed and will be priced accordingly.

Why can't services always be changed on the spot?+

Concierge appointments are prepared in advance based on the confirmed request. Significant changes may require different timing, products, tools, or preparation than what was originally approved.

Payments & Retainers
Is a retainer required?+

Yes. A retainer is required to secure every appointment. This applies to all clients and allows your requested time to be reserved and prepared for properly.

Is the retainer refundable?+

Retainers are applied toward the appointment and secure your reserved time. Refundability depends on timing, preparation already completed, and the appointment terms associated with your booking.

When is final payment due?+

Final payment is due according to the confirmed appointment terms. Payment should be completed on time so the service can remain smooth, professional, and properly closed out.

Are late payments subject to fees?+

Yes. Late payments may be subject to additional fees and may affect future booking approval.

Travel, Location & Preparation
Where do you service?+

Strand Society serves Houston and surrounding areas, with select travel-day availability for destination and extended-location requests.

Is there a travel fee?+

Travel within our standard range may be included depending on the service. Extended-distance, destination, or specialty travel is quoted based on location, timing, and coordination needs.

What do I need to have ready before my appointment?+

Clients should ensure the service environment is ready, accessible, and appropriate for the appointment being delivered. Details may vary by service type and location.

Why does location matter?+

Concierge appointments are built around access, setup, timing, lighting, privacy, and service flow. The location directly affects preparation and execution.

Memberships
Can I cancel my membership anytime?+

Memberships may be canceled with 30 days' notice. This allows your current cycle to close properly and preserves service coordination standards.

Are membership services transferable?+

Private House plans may include guest or household coverage. Other membership tiers are intended for the named member unless otherwise stated.

Do members get priority?+

Yes. Members receive preferred scheduling consideration and a more continuous concierge rhythm throughout their service cycle.

Wig Concierge
How long does a custom unit take?+

Most custom wig orders are completed within 2–4 weeks depending on sourcing, customization, and finishing details.

Do you offer wig maintenance?+

Yes. Wig Concierge includes maintenance options such as cleansing, conditioning, restyling, refresh services, and continued care support.

Are custom wigs refundable?+

Custom and made-to-order wig units are final sale due to the personalization involved.

Men's Grooming
Do you offer beard color?+

Yes. Men's Grooming may include natural beard blending, glossing, and grey coverage depending on the requested finish.

Is grooming offered on travel days?+

Yes. In-suite, on-location, and travel-day grooming may be arranged based on approval, availability, and service routing.

Shop
Do you ship?+

Yes. Select orders ship in carefully prepared luxury packaging within the stated processing window unless otherwise noted.

What is the return policy?+

Unopened support items may be returned within 14 days unless otherwise stated. Custom wigs and made-to-order items are final sale.

The App
What does the app do?+

The app allows clients to submit service requests, manage appointments, connect with concierge support, and access membership-related convenience.

Is the app required?+

No. The app is not required, but it offers the most seamless way to manage the Strand Society experience.
